Services

Every family approaches the college admission process at different times and have different needs. To that end, we offer the following comprehensive and a la carte packages:

College Consultation Grade 9 Package

Freshman On-track Package
  • Thorough review of student's academic record, including progress reports and report cards.
  • Advice on course selection.
  • Discussion of activities and volunteer work throughout high school years.
  • Recommendations on summer internships, academic programs and volunteer work.
  • Testing recommendations.
  • Advice on broad overview of possible college options.
Initial consultation is $250. Ongoing fees are discussed at the time of consultation.

College Consultation Grade 10 Package

Sophomore On-track Package
  • Thorough review of student's academic record, including progress reports and report cards.
  • Advice on course selection.
  • Discussion of activities, academic programs and volunteer work throughout the high school years.
  • College testing recommendations.
  • Advice on broad overview of possible college options.
  • Administer career inventory assessment.
  • Discuss results from interest inventory and how it relates to the student's college goals.
Initial consultation is $250. Ongoing fees are discussed at the time of consultation.

College Consultation Grade 11 Package

Initial Consultation (One 1 hour session)
  • Review student’s academic performance, extracurricular activities, personal strengths and goals. This consultation will assist the student in developing a plan to enhance the student’s passions and interests.
Evaluation and Selection of Programs (5 sessions, 1 hour per session)
  • Consultant will meet with student to provide an overall application plan and strategy.
  • Select colleges and majors based on academic index, personal goals, talents and strengths (list development).
  • Assist student in contacting local colleges and universities and arrange for campus visits.
  • Discuss pros and cons of Early Action and Early Decision.
  • Prepare students for campus interviews.
  • Assist with curriculum and extracurricular decisions.
Essay Development (3 sessions, 1 hour per session)
  • Brainstorm essay topics and assist in preparing effective responses. This includes detailed suggestions for content, structure, style, vocabulary and spelling.
Initial consultation is $250. Ongoing fees are discussed at the time of consultation.

College Consultation Grade 12 Package

Application and Submission (10 hours)
  • Organize timetable for the application process.
  • Gather all necessary documents.
  • Review all standardized exams (SAT, SAT II, ACT).
  • Personal statements are reviewed and edited for application submission.
  • Complete application form.
  • Review all materials before submission with consultant.
  • Discuss college visits.
  • Analyze college list.
  • Finalize college choices.
  • Support student in evaluating college acceptances and making college enrollment choice.
  • Discuss "wait-list" or deferral (if necessary).
  • Conclude with transition meeting for student and family.
Initial consultation is $250. Ongoing fees are discussed at the time of consultation.

Hourly Consultations or Customized Service Blocks

We are available for hourly consultation services to provide information and advice about the college search and application process.

You can purchase a pre-paid four-hour block of time to be used for any combination of the following services:

  • Mock interview.
  • Essay Editing.
  • Activities resume editing.
  • Application review.
  • Essay Brainstorming.
Customized service blocks are $1,000 for four hours. Hourly consultations are $250 per hour. Note that list development is not included and is part of a comprehensive package.
